Have you ever struggled to find products that are truly good for your skin??
For me it started during the pandemic. Something shifted for me and I started paying closer attention to what was going inside my body and on the outside. Reading labels became an obsession!
There started my research. I watched endless tutorials on the benefits of herbs and fats and oils that come directly from nature. I bought herbalism books, books about home remedies and concoctions. I live for concoctions! And I educated myself on the beneficial properties nature provides us with. After learning how harmful the harsh chemicals and synthetics, in nearly everything we are being sold, I started seeking out natural soaps and such. And for a couple years I was buying from someone at our local flea market.
Here’s the twist that started my path of making my own bathe and body products…. The lady I had been purchasing from, changed up her formulas. And from a personal standpoint, I did not resonate with those changes. At first I was discouraged. But then there was a lightbulb moment of clarity, and it was loud…. “ If she can make this stuff, then I can make it too”! And that’s when I started experimenting. That was two years ago!
Since then I have formulated and fumbled and made discoveries! I find it so fascinating to learn about plants that heal! Weeds that heal! Butter’s and oils from nature that hydrate, nourish and heal our skin. So much of what is taken for granted in the modern world is literally there for our benefit. Weeds and woodlands that are being destroyed, carry all the medicine we need to thrive and be healthy.
I am dedicated to using only the highest quality ingredients in my products. It is my promise to only use natural and wholesome ingredients free from toxins and harmful pesticides and chemicals. Focusing on keeping my products at least 85% organic.
